Reading sunglasses?

Are reading sunglasses a brilliant idea, or just another thoughtless way to make money? Well, some people have sensitive eyes to outside light, even if it is not sunny yet, just one of those bright cloudy days. I am someone that has colored eyes, and for some reason my eyes become sensitive to the outside daylight at times. It is a horrible feeling, my eyes water up unstoppably as I attempt to keep them open.

However, I have 20/20 vision so I am not one that necessarily has to worry about reading glasses. On the other hand, I could imagine that there are other people out there like me that get the same sensitivity in their eyes to light, but that actually DO need reading glasses. I am sure these people would appreciate such a creation as ‘reading sunglasses’. I know I would.

So are reading sunglasses a brilliant idea or just another moneymaker? I would lean towards the suggestion that they are much more of a brilliant idea. Now people that want to lounge on the benches at the park and read a book outside while enjoying a nice day can do that without looking down at the page of their book and getting blinded by the reflection of the sun. I love to read books, and I have tried to relax at the park and read a book but it was so bright that my page looked like it was glowing in the sunlight. I can use my sunglasses, no problem, because I do not require reading glasses in order to read my book.

Now, if the idea of reading sunglasses did not surface, then individuals who needed reading glasses in order to read their book, would not be able to enjoy the same casual activity, as someone who didn’t need reading glasses.

Reading sunglasses are a great idea, and I think they definitely help maintain equality, because they are helping the less fortunate continue to live a comfortable life, and also helping them maintain doing the same things in life that they would be able to do if they didn’t need reading glasses.
