Eye Glasses can make you look smart, sassy, and/or unique. Play with your eye makeup more with these great looks.
Steps
- Take care of your eyebrows.
- For a more clean brow shape, tweeze only the stray hairs. Be sure not to over pluck. Making the tiniest mistake plucking brows can leave you browless. If that ever happens, be sure to rub on olive oil for eyebrows to grow quicker. In the meantime, try going to a professional to pencil some for you which leaves them looking more natural. Since of course they are professionals, they know the best colors and shapes. That’s why we love them so much. Don’t pluck your eyebrows every day. Even if you see more stray hairs peeking in, plucking and removing hair every day damages your skin. Try doing it every other week.
- Define brows with eyeshadow that match your hair color. Apply with eyebrow brush. Take light, shady strokes. Use powders for more colors, cream pencils to define and color.
- The best way to leave brows shaped and groomed is to apply a tiny bit of vaseline to tame them, or use a brow shaper. A creamy formula fills in eyebrow color, controls, and shapes. Bobbi Brown eye cosmetics are highly recommended.
- Take to the air. Aviator frames have made their way back into fashion. They’re now described as timeless, and vintage. When you think of these frames you think movie star, vintage. Add some sophistication to them by using the smokey eye trick. Apply deep gray colors (not black) from your lashline to the creases once or twice. Smudge the color with some gloss if the formula is powder. If the eyeshadow formula is cream smudge with finger. For that instant great smokey eye swipe on some thickening, and lengthing mascara. Use Maybelline or Bobbi Brown cosmetics.
- Try eyeliner to help define all eye shapes and frames. Though, yes, they can make the eyes appear smaller (depends on the color though). If your eye shape is small, consider white pencil. This will enhance the shape and the color of your eyes. For those who use black eyeliner, there are plenty ways to apply it on. Use Jane’s Going Steady Eye Definer pencil for that nice glide. There’s no need to sharpen pencils. You could also use Maybelline, Covergirl, Bonnebell, Bobbi Brown, Revlon Products.
- Accentuate your lips. A nice naturual smooth lip plays up giving your eyes the attention it needs. But for those smooth kissable lips be sure to use vaseline on your lips after you brush your teeth, before sleep. Use Burt’s Bee’s Lip shimmer to give your lips that leaves that sweet hint of color, and that lovable minty flavor. Apply the product sheerly. Not too much. After that use their great lip gloss and apply over for that nice smooth kissable shine. Use Burt’s Bees, and/or Smiths Rosebud Salve. For blush use pinks for your skin tone. Gold pink for yellow undertone, berry pink for deep skin, orange-y pink for olive skin, and that baby powder pink for fair skin. Use powders, or creams.
Tips
- If you can’t wear makeup, still tweeze your brows. They’re most important for that whole glasses look. And be sure to keep up with your burt’s bee, Smith’s Rosebud Salve, Lip Smackers for those kissable lips. A beauty essential is Vaseline. They do all of those things. Apply Vaseline to your lips, apply to keep brows shaped, apply as mascara by dabbing some on your fingers and applying as if mascara, and apply on a tiny bit on a fresh face for clean dewy finish. Vaseline is a beauty savor.
- When picking out glasses choose some as if you’re choosing your perfect sunglasses. Something versatile, something that fits your face shape. I highly recommend rimless frames. You can show your beautiful bold brows with them. They’re very timeless. Other frames like rectangular frames, round frames, and aviators aren’t good if you can’t pull them off.
- Glasses can be a bit pricey. Check some websites listed for great deals.
- Don’t trade in your fab glasses for some contacts. Why would you? But if needed go ahead with your choice. It’s yours, nobody else.
